Eight years ago, the founders of Naman & Welfare Trust began with nothing more than a small first-aid kit and a determination to stop whenever they saw a dog in pain. There was no ambulance, no shelter, no team- only the belief that every injured animal deserves help.
In those early days, they treated wounded dogs on the very roads where they found them. But over time, the suffering they witnessed grew more severe. Road accidents, paralysis cases, abandoned pets- these animals needed weeks or months of care, something far beyond on-spot treatment.
As the founder recalls, Every time we walked away from a dog who needed long-term care, it felt like we were failing them.

With their savings and sheer will, they built their first shelter four years ago- a modest space for about 60 dogs. It wasn’t perfect, but it was the first safe home many of these animals had ever known.
Soon, rescue calls increased to 10–12 cases a day. Their tiny shelter was overflowing, and yet the suffering outside never slowed. That burden pushed them to dream bigger.

One year ago, they created Aashiyana
a dedicated, expanded shelter built to offer specialised care for dogs recovering from trauma.
Today, Aashiyana includes:
1, A special-care ward for paralysed and bedridden dogs
2, Recovery units for accident and fracture cases
3, Spaces designed for calm, healing, and emotional rehabilitation
4, 24/7 monitoring and treatment support
Every dog here carries a story of pain and a story of hope.
As the founder says, Once an animal enters Aashiyana, it will never be abandoned again, not on our watch.

With rising medical cases, the team hopes to build a full veterinary unit within Aashiyana that will include
1, X-ray and diagnostic services. 2, A trauma and fracture ward. 3, ICU-level care. 4, A rehabilitation centre for paralysed dogs.
Their dream is simple: No dog should die because treatment wasn’t available in time.
1, X-ray, ultrasound, and diagnostics. 2, ICU-level care. 3. A dedicated fracture & trauma ward. 4, A rehabilitation centre for paralysed dogs

Every single day, dogs arrive who would survive -if only we had more resources.
Your support today can directly save injured and paralysed dogs who have no one else. The number of accident cases is increasing faster than we can keep up with. Medicines, food, vet care, and shelter maintenance have become overwhelming.
Your contribution will help us operate rescues, treat more accident victims, run our shelter smoothly, and build the medical centre we urgently need. Please donate and help us save the dogs who cannot speak for themselves. Even one life saved is a blessing.”
